RALLIART INC. (president: Masao Taguchi) announces the competition use "Engine Plug Cover" for 4B11 MIVEC turbo-engine scheduled to go on sale from October 10th.

Installation of the "Engine Plug Cover" is easily interchanged with the standard resin-made unit. The aluminum-made plate covers only the ignition system, providing the lowest necessary decrease in shape, and in times of foul weather in the engine compartment, the cover prevents the scattering of rain water and the like from reaching the ignition system, while providing improved inspection capability of all piping. In addition, it is possible to effectively produce competition images of the engine compartment. Two choices of alumite-based colours, red and black, have been made available.

The currently available "Engine Plug Cover" is identical to that used by participating Lancer Evolution X rally cars participating on Round 6 of this year's JAF-sanctioned All-Japan Rally Championship event, Rally Hokkaido, verifying the reliability of the unit on the event.
