Ralliart Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Colin Smith as President & Executive Director at a recent meeting of the shareholders. The forty-seven-year-old also holds the position of Executive Officer of Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) and has responsibility for corporate marketing and motor sports activities, events and marketing monitoring.

Dr. Smith was born on June 30, 1955 and graduated from the University of Bonn, in Germany, with a degree in economics and a doctorate in business administration. He joined Mercedes Benz AG - now known as Daimler Chrysler AG - in 1988 with specific responsibility for product management at head office and within a number of affiliate offices. In addition, he was involved in the planning and strategy.

He was assigned to Mitsubishi Motors Corporation in January 2001, where he continues to hold the post of Executive Officer.
