Co. Ltd (president Yukimichi Kitane) is proud to announce that the assembly
manual for the dog-type five- speed transmission for the Lancer Evolution
VI and VII Group N Rally car is now available. The manual in Adobe pdf
file may be downloaded from our website.
The particular modifications to the transmission has been approved by
the FIA regulations effective as of January 1, 2001 and concerns the
internals of the transmission as well as the differential gear ratio
changes. It has been developed with the full cooperation of Hewland
in England and has been homologated for Group N as an option variant.
The durability of this new transmission is unsurpassed and its high
level of competitiveness has been proven through competition in WRC
Group N rallying, Japanese domestic rallying as well as on vehicles
with tuned engines.
The assembly manual was put together specifically with authorised garages
in mind. This was achieved by providing a transmission internal parts
kit and jigs required when assembling the transmission.
